The Chevrolet Suburban comes in a 1500 and 2500 which both seat up to nine passengers and also comes in LS and LT trims.

The 1500 is available in top-line LTZ trim. All are availabe with rear-wheel drive or GM’s Autotrac 4-wheel drive and includes a low-range gear for off-roading.

For the 1500, it has a 310-hp 5.3-liter V8 engine with GM’s Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation which can run on E85 ethanol-blended fuel. All 2010 Suburban 2500 models have a 352-hp 6.0-liter V8 and 6-speed automatic.

 The maximum towing capacities are 8,100 lb for the 1500 and 9,600 lb for the 2500.

The available safety features for the Suburban includes ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front side airbags and curtain side airbags. For the LTZ, blind-spot alert is available and cooled front seats are standard.

Some interesting features for the is the wireless cell-phone link, dual-screen DVD entertainment and a backupcamera that displays both the optional navigation system screen and the rearview mirror.

The Chevrolet Suburban is a is a family truck that offers a variety of trim levels and interior options. This all purpuse vehile is the perfect truck for driving through the roadways of Noblesvilee, Indiana. All trim levels come in six speed automatic and get the 50/50 split third row bench and Bluetooth connectivity. There is an option of navigation system with real-time traffic capability on the midlevel trim. All levels have an optional rearview cameras, and third row DVD screen. The top trim comes standard with heated and cooling leather seats, and optional blind spot warning system.

The Suburban is available in 1500 and 2500 models, in either two wheel drive or all wheel drive. The standard model comes with 17-inch wheels, side assist steps, power accessories, dual climate control, and eight speaker audio system.

There are also two packages that can be added ; the 1LT trim replaces the front bench with two front buckets, fog lamps, luggage racks, rear audio system. The other package is the LT package, which adds tri-zone automatic climate control, an upgraded audio system with six-CD changer, power-adjustable pedals, remote vehicle starting, a universal home remote and rear parking assist.

There are three engine choices on the 2009 Suburban 1500. The standard version with a 5.3-liter V8 that makes 310 horsepower and 335 pound-feet of torque. The 2LT and LTZ trim levels, a 6.0-liter V8 366 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque is optional.

Four-wheel antilock disc brakes are standard on all Suburban’s, as are stability control and GM’s OnStar emergency communications system. A three-row side curtain airbag system with a rollover sensor is standard on all Suburbans.
