Every week, Hare Chevy takes in many different trade-in vehicles. Before coming, though, know what you are looking to trade. We have a WIDE selection of new and used vehicles for you to check out. Schedule an appointment with us as soon as possible so we can take a look at your vehicle and get you into a new one!

An obvious factor to increase the value before bringing in your vehicle would be to make sure the car is clean. Also, getting any small dents or scratches taken care of first, before coming in, can increase the value too. Get it washed and even waxed to make it really shine.

We advise you to remove any personal belongings but don’t take out any important vehicle information that could be valuable to the trade-in process. Some items to bring along would be repair and service records, and the owners’ manual. This can allow us to gather as much info as we can and get you a better deal!

If you still owe on your vehicle, Hare Chevrolet has to factor that in. Unfortunately, the offer for your trade-in will not apply to paying off the remainder of the purchase. One of our qualified servicemen will take notes on the condition of the vehicle you present to us. Remember, be open minded when coming in to do a trade-in transaction. Hare Chevy knows that there can be some emotional attachment to the family car and we want to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Hare Chevrolet has been very appreciative of the increase in business from Cash for Clunkers. However, the government has been a bit SLOW in reimbursing the Dealers. As of yesterday, less than 2% of all the Cash for Clunkers transactions had been paid to the Dealers. Current articles state that the goverment is going to increase the number of employees to work on this project by approximately 900 people by THIS Friday.

Here is how the contest works: currently Hare has submitted 82 deals to the govt and has been paid on 2. That equals 2.4%. Between NOW and the END of the month, what % of those 82 deals do you think the government will have reimbursed? The Contest will only include the 82 deals THROUGH today (08/18 ). IF YOU guess the right % or are closest to the right %, you will WIN a FREE TANK OF GAS and a FREE CAR WASH. You must be able to come to the store to claim this prize and you must be a FAN of Hare Chevrolet on Facebook. If there is a tie, there will be a tiebreaker. We will email/call the winners and ask them to guess how many Repair Orders Hare wrote on Friday, August 28th. The winner will be announced on 09/01.
